
Dr. Debleena Dash was born and raised in the Midwest. She obtained her Bachelors in Science in Biology and continued on to complete her Doctorate in Dental Surgery at Creighton University She then moved to the East Coast and completed a one year Advanced Education in General Dentistry program at Howard University. She then moved to New York City and worked as a General Dentist in a Pediatric Dental office that provided dental care for children in various underserved populations, ranging from the Bronx, to Queens and Brooklyn. It was after working in the underserved areas that she felt a need to provide care for the Special Needs population. She obtained a Certificate in Fellowship at Stony Brook University in Dental Care for the Developmentally Disabled. Finally, her passion for serving children and the special needs population pushed her to complete a Residency in Pediatric Dentistry at Staten Island University Hospital. Currently, Dr. Dash serves the Northern Virginia pediatric population. In her free time, Dr. Dash, being an avid foodie, loves to spend her weekends eating at new and exciting restaurants. She also enjoys cooking and hiking outdoors, but her absolute favorite pastime is spending memorable time with her daughter and husband.
